Scientists doing comedy? You must be joking.
Science Riot is an evening of brainy comedy where we give local experts a crash course in standup then throw them on stage to deliver their comedy talk for the first time.
We're proud to be part of the Atlanta Science Festival! This country needs more scientists to get behind a microphone and we want to teach them how. It's one thing to tell them to avoid jargon, but we go a step further and provide an immersive workshop and a safe space where experts can find new perspectives with the help of professional comedians. Our goal is to deepen the bench of talented science communicators and provide an entertaining and engaging event!
